Firmaet E. Doppler & Co. GmbH blev grundlagt i 1946 af Ernst Doppler og har siden udviklet sig til en innovativ pioner inden for produktion af sol-, regn- og reklameparaplyer.

Denne familieejede virksomhed, nu i fjerde generation, har hovedsæde i Braunau am Inn, Øvre Østrig, og driver datterselskaber i Tyskland, Tjekkiet, Slovakiet, Rumænien og Kina.

Doppler designer og producerer sol- og regnparaplyer af enhver art til slutforbrugere, detailhandlere, promotionforhandlere og hotel- og restaurationsbranchen. Produktionen af have- og sædehynder samt en koordineret have møbelkollektion supplerer virksomhedens omfattende produktudvalg og gør denne traditionelle virksomhed til en omfattende udbyder af udendørs produkter.

Virksomhedens portefølje inkluderer mærkerne doppler, doppler-Manufaktur, Knirps og derby. Derudover har paraplyproducenten licenser til produktion og distribution af paraplyer under Bugatti-mærket. Doppler producerer også paraplyer til talrige anerkendte mærker som Rolls-Royce, Audi og Marco Polo.

I øjeblikket beskæftiger doppler cirka 200 personer i Østrig og 360 på tværs af hele koncernen.
